We had the good fortune of connecting with Hannah Knight and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Hannah, career-wise, where do you want to be in the end?
Its a hard question, but easy answer; there is never an end goal. As I reach one accomplishment, there is always a higher level to reach & something new to learn. And if you ever feel like you are capping out, time to explore new ventures. However, I do have an expectation that I hold myself to reach concluding of my hard, dedicated and consistent work. One of my many aspirations I aim to achieve would be to open and be CEO of my own Talent Agency.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Professional Makeup Artist, Master Hairstylist, Published Model, & Artist Manager
As you can see I have my hands in a mixture of pallets. My day job is as a master stylist at a salon, located in The Woodlands, Texas. My side businesses is where I do makeup for Runway Shows(Lead Director), photoshoots, weddings, events, or any special occasion. I also manage a new upcoming singer, Marren Lane, where I help keep track of the progression, the booking for gigs, the social media updates, etc. And on my own free time I am a freelance model, I don’t really have any interest signing with an agency.
Needless to say it is a lot to juggle, but it is so worth it. There has been many obstacles along the way, but patience and perseverance has always gotten me through. As busy as i am with work, I’m also busy having an entire home and family to keep up with. but being able to provide the lifestyle we yearn for makes it impossible for me to stop. I’m chasing and working towards big dreams here.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Well living in the Houston area, there is certainly a lot of options. But we can stick to my local city, The Woodlands. First stop has to be brunch at “Sweet Paris Creperie” the have such a gorgeous little café and my personal favorite, you can enjoy the outdoors while indulging. Its always fun to people watch lol. Next we will definitely be taking out the boat onto the lake, I love being outside and enjoying the breeze. there is nothing that make you feel alive than feeling the wind.
At some point through the weekend we have to make a stop at the waterway, they have many delicious restaurants and bars. my favorite is “TRIS” fine dining with even finer wine.
And last but not least, The Pavilion is going to be preforming all the oldies but goldies, starring Fleetwood Mac.
this would be an absolute prefect weekend.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I have been very fortunate to be surrounded by many supportive people. However, I’m also very selective to whom gets to be in my inner circle. But long made short, shoutout to my amazing companion, Collin Broughton, behind every successful woman, is a strong man . My little brother, Lucky, having him live with me really motivates me to provide the absolute best quality of life for our little family.
And of course my amazing parents, I’m very blessed to have my parents believe in me just as much as I believe in myself.
