Meet Hayley & Angel Cardozo

We had the good fortune of connecting with Hayley & Angel Cardozo and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Hayley & Angel, why did you pursue a creative career?
We decided to pursue the artistic and creative career of photography and videography due to the deep-seated passion we share together of capturing moments that range from the love of families and couples to luxury automotive and landscape photography. This career has allowed us as a couple to come together with two completely unique perspectives and share our creative sides through self-expression. This career further allows us to explore our imagination, experiment with ideas, and communicate complex thoughts in ways that traditional professions may not. Ultimately, this journey can be and has been personally rewarding and socially impactful, driving us to choose this path.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
After I had my first child 7 years ago and became a stay-at-home mom for the time being, I found myself wanting to pick up a hobby. I always had a passion for being artistic and creative whether this was through creating digital media, editing websites to then picking up a camera. After a few years behind the lens, I decided to step into modeling which ultimately can go hand in hand. Fast forward to 2025 and I have picked up the camera again alongside my partner with so much more experience and knowledge that while it can be challenging in the aspect of editing, it is all natural to us for we have been doing it for years. We don’t just press a button and take a picture, we capture the pure off-guard moments, love and joy seen from the outside. We provide safe environments for other artists to express themselves and have fun living in the moment. We capture moments that last a lifetime.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Downtown! Downtown! Downtown!

There is always something going on in Downtown, Houston so you can truly never go wrong trying a new restaurant or exploring the scenery. A go-to favorite spot is Franks Pizza located on Travis St, this spot is close to other amazing restaurants and bars to explore. It doesn’t matter if it is during the day or at night because the night life can be just as eventful, sometimes it’s just best to go with the flow and see where the wind takes you.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would dedicate and give recognition to my amazing partner and spouse Angel Cardozo. He has supported me from the very beginning through getting the proper and necessary tools to create the imagery we do to now working alongside myself in capturing and recording content. He ensures all shoots go smoothly through double checking our equipment and the space we are shooting in. He makes our job easier, and I wouldn’t want anyone else by my side.
