We had the good fortune of connecting with Hilda Pazmino and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Hilda, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
My thought process began with identifying a gap in the market. I realized that many people, especially women, were afraid of public speaking. I kept thinking about how to build more confidence in them, or why, despite being professionals or experts, they weren’t entirely confident in what they were offering. It became clear to me that there was a real opportunity to offer one-on-one workshops or communications consulting services, supported by my experience in sports, in a better way. I was driven by the idea of launching an innovative product on the market that could give them the tools they needed.

What should our readers know about your business?
My business is born from a very personal combination: my passion for communications, my training in sports journalism and my love for help others, and my commitment to generating a positive social impact, especially in migrant and Spanish-speaking communities. What sets me apart is that I don’t just tell stories; I create spaces where often-invisible voices can be heard, whether through interviews, digital content, events, or purposeful consulting.

What excites me most is seeing how a well-told story can empower someone, inspire a community, or open up new opportunities. I’m proud to have worked with foundations and organizations that believe in the power of communication as a tool for transformation. Additionally, being able to combine my coaching knowledge with sports and media has been a powerful way to connect with people on a more human level.

Getting here hasn’t been easy. As a migrant, as a woman in the world of sports, and as an entrepreneur, I’ve had to face moments of uncertainty, fear, and many “no’s.” But every challenge has taught me something. I’ve learned that authenticity is an essential value, that perseverance is stronger than perfection, and that asking for help isn’t a weakness, but an act of emotional intelligence.

Today I want the world to know that my brand isn’t just a personal project: it’s a movement that unites sport, communication, and purpose. It’s an invitation to believe that our roots are a strength, that our stories matter, and that every step we take can pave the way for others.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
There are many interesting and culturally rich places in Houston. I would take them to the Saint Arnolds Brewery; it’s a great place to have a good time and has a great view. I would also go to a good Mediterranean restaurant or gourmet food like Caracol. I really like the variety you find in this city. Depending on the time of year, we could visit a lake or Surfside Beach. And I wouldn’t miss taking them to an ice cream shop; there are many good options. And maybe even see a good performance by the Houston Symphony Orchestra.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would love to acknowledge the support of my mother, who always encouraged me to explore new places, never look back, and be brave.
I would also like to acknowledge the support of friends and mentors who have been an important part of my achievements.
