We had the good fortune of connecting with Hope Taylor and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Hope, do you have a budget?
Ahhh the other bad word, BUDGET. That word had always had such a negative connotation to me until recently. Recently, I became involved with Limelife’s Brighter Together foundation. The primary focus of Brighter Together is financial empowerment. Through my training as the Houston area chapter coordinator, I have learned that financial empowerment is the cornerstone of female empowerment. My first chapter workshop focused on financial empowerment and I realized as we went into our second workshop that nearly every financial goal I set at our first workshop in October has already come to fruition. I do believe a lot of that success is due to manifesting as well as changing my mindset around finances. I also have a partner who keeps me grounded and on target with our financial goals. I now feel more comfortable talking about finances with my husband. He has created a safe space for me to be myself and work together on our financial goals.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I want the world to know that LimeLife is not just another “direct sales company”. I want the world to stop looking at direct sales with a stigma. Not every corporate company is created equal and after being in 3 different direct sales companies, I’m here to tell you not every direct sales company is created equally either. I see women becoming “influencers” and pushing brands that have toxic ingredients and being rewarded with notoriety rather than an actual paycheck. Honey, you’re selling yourself short!! Stop worrying about what others think and realize your worth and be unapologetic about it!!!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I personally LOVE the heights. I spent 2 years in austin and the hill country and I thought I wanted to move there. But then I came home to houston and I have found so many hidden gems I never knew we had here. . I feel like the heights is the little part of houston that wishes it was austin. You can find some unique little shops and farmers markets as well as fun little cafes, bistros and restaurants. I would definitely highlight that and then show them a great time on lake Conroe. Finally, we would take a day trip down to the coast to my secret little hidden spot to do some camping, surf fishing, and kayaking.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to shoutout LimeLife CEO Michelle Gay. She has created a company with a mission of female independence and empowerment. She had set a stage for women to create ripple effects that will cause waves in the female empowerment movement. When I signed on as a beauty guide I just thought I was signing up to sell skincare and makeup that changed my skin. I wanted to help women battling skin issues feel beautiful and comfortable in their own skin as it had done for me. I had no idea I was joining a movement of inspiration and self growth. I had no idea I would find my deeper purpose and my true self along this journey. She has created a space for women to truly be the change we wish to see in the world. I am so proud to be a part of a company with so much integrity and honest values in a world where those things often seem blurred among all of the greed. Together we will change the world.
