We had the good fortune of connecting with Iman Eli and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Iman, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
The Eli Group was born from my desire to be my own boss. Passionate about curating social media feeds and creating effective content, I identified a need to offer social media marketing and management, content creation, live event coverage, and brand partnerships . Since my graduation in 2016, I’ve navigated challenges, eschewing a corporate job to master my craft. My mission is to scale my business, while delivering a quality service, and providing a positive experience. Additionally, I aspire to support small businesses by offering discounted services through grants and available resources.

What should our readers know about your business?
The journey to the Eli Group Marketing Agency’s success has been a rollercoaster of ambition, late-night brainstorming sessions, and a dash of audacity. What sets us apart? Well, we’re not just a team; we’re a squad of creative maestros turning dreams into digital reality. What sets us apart is a meticulous blend of strategic thinking and creative prowess. The achievement that stands out is the growth of our business, establishing partnerships with over 10 clients spanning diverse industries, from fine arts to law firms and influencers.

My trajectory into the business world began during my time at Texas Tech. Picture this:: a bustling hive of academia, and there I was, juggling extracurriculars, a full-time job, and classes. A self-starter in the making! Post-graduation, my foray into freelance work at a radio station, online radio station, a low-powered television network, and serving an admin role for a local stylist was marked by financial challenges and self-doubt. However, these hurdles became stepping stones as I later secured a role w/ a startup and was introduced to the business of marketing. F

The path was anything but easy. For me God, mentorship, and a heap of tough lessons has been the “secret sauce” to our growing success.. I realized great things don’t waltz in easily; you’ve got to tango with challenges. Doubt? Can’t make space for it any longer. Now, it’s all about turning setbacks into comebacks. I learned the solo sprint is swift, but the team marathon? That’s where greatness happens. Oh, and the value of your work? It’s not just a number; it’s a declaration of worth.

Eli Group Marketing Agency is in its nascent stages, yet harbors a wealth of potential for clients and supporters. While my social media presence may not fully reflect our portfolio, the essence lies in the quality of our work, a testament to our commitment to excellence.
