We had the good fortune of connecting with J.P. Rios and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi J.P., is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
I love being in the business of people. Helping sellers sell their homes or projects for top dollar is great for the Houston market. Also, I love helping potential buyers spark a creative vision for what their living spaces could look & feel like.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I guess what I love the most in the world of staging is the impact it has, on the project itself, and more importantly, the people. Ive seen firsthand how the emotional effect leads to an offer & or a bidding war on the home. It helps stand out to other properties potential buyers may have on their list.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Houston is so diverse! Places I’d recommend to visit would be;
-toutsuite
– pitch25
– white oak music hall
– the aquarium
– danelectros
– rockets game
– Baa Baa brew house
– urban south brewery
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Definitely my wife Kiki Baker Rios. She’s definitely been a huge help for my business in a marketing aspect, and also for me personally. She’s always pushing me (and others) to their fullest potential. She loves seeing everyone firing on all cylinders, seething goals & surpassing them.
