We had the good fortune of connecting with Jada Lynnette and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jada, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Initially, I was not thinking of starting a business. Creating wigs was just something I loved to do for myself. I have always been infatuated with getting glammed up with different hairstyles! Eventually the hobby turned into a passion and I knew creating wig units was what I was called to do. I wanted to create a brand that makes women feel beautiful. 90% of a woman’s selfie is her hair. When you feel beautiful on the outside, it makes it much easier to feel beautiful on the inside.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
The JadaLynn Collection is here to fulfill the demand of the highest quality extensions and amazing customer service. We offer premium hair extensions and luxury wig units for customers who demand only the best!
Business has been far from easy but I will never give up. The hair industry is stressful at times and there are many moments, where I feel hopeless and lost. I believe my passion for my business has allowed me to continue on.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Anyone that truly knows me, knows that I LOVE to eat. I am a true “foodie”. I have a few favorite spots, here in Houston, that I feel everyone should go to at least once in life! The Breakfast Klub is an amazing breakfast spot with good food! Definitely a great place to start your morning off. A must visit for lunch is The Turkey Leg. They offer a variety of stuffed turkey legs, great drinks, and an amazing atmosphere. There is always a long line so I recommend getting there early! Another place I always take family and friends is to Mikki’s Soulfood Cafe. Mikki’s is a MUST when you come to Houston. They have the best soul food here and give great portions of food.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to give a special shoutout to my mother. She has been my biggest supporter since the very beginning. I cannot wait to provide her with everything she deserves.
