We had the good fortune of connecting with Jasmine Lewis Greenlee and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jasmine, what is the most important factor behind your success?
Honestly, God. Yes I know that I am in the beauty industry and there may seem like there’s no place for “religion” here but I know that it is God that has blessed my business/brand to be so successful.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Get here has not been easy but I’m so glad that I stepped out of my comfort zone of working a 9-5 and took a leap of faith because now I have the pleasure of doing what I love. One of the hardest lessons that I have learned in becoming my own boss is that IT TAKES WORK! and it is not for the faint at heart. Glam by Victoria inc is not just another place to get your makeup done. A big part of why I do what I do is because I’m an adamant believer that every woman is beautiful, makeup just enhances that.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Well CT us known for their Pizza so we would definitely check out one of the Pizzerias, then check out Downtown New Haven. There are so many cute boutiques down there.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My sister!! She has been such a motivational person in my life. I see her drive and ambition and it makes me want to keep pushing towards my dreams and goals!
