We had the good fortune of connecting with Jasmine Wright and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jasmine, let’s start by talking about what inspires you?
I am inspired by the strong women in my family. I love the saying it takes a village because in my case it literally took a village to help me become the woman l am today! I’am surrounded by the love of my grandmother, my mother, and aunts. And God used them to walk with me every step of the way!

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
House Of Crèe means tribe. Which is my middle name and it’s significant because tribe also means family. House of Cree is personal for me. A few years ago my mother was battling with alopecia and at the time l made her a wig after making the wig her smile and her energy made my heart smile from that moment on it sparked a passion for wig making. I got to where l am today business-wise with a lot of prayer and fasting. I was obedient and consistent to the voice of God and it just took off for me. The lessons l have learned is trusting and praying through the process. There are a lot of days when you just want to give up, but something inside you tells you to keep going and l advice anyone to listen to that voice. I would like the world to know that House of Crèe Hair Company is all about making women feel beautiful from the crown of their head to soul of their heart. I also want women to know that l stand on working hard to given them quality.

Any great local spots you’d like to shoutout?
I love Phil and Derek’s which is in Downtown Houston! They have the best food and live music around!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
First and foremost l would like to give all recognition to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, without Him l would be nothing. Secondly but not least l would like to thank my amazing husband Eddie! He has been my number one supporter and has been right by my side through it all! I would like to give recognition to my Cosmetology instructors at Remington College of Webster Tx. Ms. Wright and Ms. Henry for pushing me to be the best l could be as a woman and as a professional. I would also like to give recognition to my Cranial Prothesis Specialist Instructor Ms. Stacie Holmes for always being so sweet and amazing!
