Hi Jeannine, is there a quote or affirmation that’s meaningful to you?
Whether you succeed or not is irrelevant, there is no such thing. Making your unknown known is the important thing. -Georgia O’Keefe There is so much pressure to succeed in the music industry. As an artist, you can’t be concerned with whether you will be successful. Success is a meaningless word. Write songs with honesty and integrity. All one can do is make your work visible to the world.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am a Houston based singer songwriter. I write songs that are honest about life, relationships and the way I see the world. There are always many challenges for women to balance family, work and creative life. For me, it has involved a great desire to write, sing and share my songs with people. It also provides many opportunities for material. Many of my songs are deeply moving and emotional. I am not afraid for my audience to feel. There is courage in my own vulnerability and that of my listeners.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My dedication here is to my husband, Kevin and my sons. They have been so supportive in this new musical journey. They have also approached my work with honesty and appreciation.
