We had the good fortune of connecting with Jeff Ejekam and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jeff, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My entire life I always knew my calling from God was to help others. Whether it be something has small as homework, or something as big as introducing two businesses for partnership, I knew it was my purpose to help others grow. I along with my best friends have had platforms that people gravitated towards and we knew that if we really wanted to make a difference we had to make it a business. This business idea dated all the way back to when I was 13 years old but through many years of name changes and niches, The Grandeur Society officially was made in November 10, 2019. The Grandeur Society is an organization that looks to help others innovate and influence through networking, lifestyle tips, event hosting and brand promotion. Anyone who works with or associates with The Grandeur Society can attest to the work we put forward in all pillars of the brand. I hold the title of Founder of The Grandeur Society but everyone makes the society. Without the people there is no Grandeur Way.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
The Grandeur Society is an organization that seeks to help others innovate and influence through the tools of networking, lifestyle tips, event/entertainment hosting, and brand promotion. A lot of businesses is that it does not require anything else but to be yourself. All The Grandeur Society is here to do is to elevate your life whether that is in your business life, financial life, entertainment life, or social life. We want to be that push that drives people to really go out and do the things they want to accomplish. The way The Grandeur Society got here today was through the use of the founders individual platforms and centralizing them all in one organization. The Grandeur Society first started off only with event hosting with several seasonal events/parties throughout the city of Houston. Then realized that the platform can be used for bigger and better things as well. We had so many resources and knowledge from networking that we knew we wanted to share with others so they too can be just as successful in whatever endeavors they so choose.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Well if they’re in town with me they probably like doing the same things as me so, in the morning I will take them to the Athlete Training & Health and get a workout in with my trainer Chris Slocum down in Katy, TX. Once we finish the workout freshen up and head out to go grab some food and potentially drinks. Spots I love during the day time are A’Dor Kitchen, Prospect Park, Pitch 25, Truck Yard, The Address. Houston has so much to offer its insane. Next I will take them to the Galleria to do some shopping and explore the mall. The Galleria is easily one of the greatest places for shopping I have been to and I travel a lot. Now for night life, there are so many options that I would not even know where to start. Since we have a week I would take them to Washington Avenue, Main Street, Midtown, etc. Particular places I would take them are A’Dor Kitchen, Prospect Park, Space Houston, Seaside, Kung Fu Saloon, Concrete Cowboy, Belle Station, The Commoner, the list literally goes on and on. Another place I love to go is Discovery Green both in the day and night time. The skyline is so beautiful and I love to take my dog out to play there. Plenty of space of outdoor activities. I have lived in pretty much my whole life aside from my Army career and even I haven’t done everything the city has to offer. I find new gems everyday so whoever comes with me will too find those gems.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I simply want to shoutout all the founders of The Grandeur Society for not only helping me build this organization but to all of their individual aspirations.
