We had the good fortune of connecting with Jeremy Dotson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jeremy, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The most important factor to the success of my brand would be its uniqueness. Runway Ports Furniture offers a completely new way of visualizing Cannabis utensils and furniture. We focus on pushing the limits of the normal everyday pieces you would see or buy.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Runway Ports started as a hobby to create cool pieces for myself. But once the world got a whiff of it i quickly realized I was on to something. It hasn’t been the easiest journey, thus far, but definitely has had a lot of rewarding moments. One being able to have my International Port Coffee Table seen by millions daily via 85 South Show with Karlous Miller. Becoming a business owner has taught me many lessons on patients and mental fortitude. Consistency has been and is the key to success in all that we do.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
To show a friend a good time while visiting I’d definitely take them to Mo’ Better Brew for breakfast/brunch. Then for a little excitement we would go over to Amahle Bar & Lounge where they have a great relaxed environment.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My cousin, Dedrea Tisdell, who recently past from Lupus.
