We had the good fortune of connecting with Jesse Field’s and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jesse, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
After making other business money and doing what i love to do why not do it own my own..
What should our readers know about your business?
Sizzling hot is a kitchen located in a gas station. I picked that over a food truck so the community can come and enjoy food that come from a restaurant right bin the neighborhood. I’m bringing food that’s not gas station store food but actual food at Sizzling Hot Kitchen. You can come grab your food and go home and chill out without all the hassle of waiting in a line at a restaurant to get flavored food. It’s been a shaky ride, but I put in the effort to stay open all day seven days a week is worth the wait and the pay out as a business I know that a profit margin.. is not coming off the rip, but I’m sure the weight is going to be well worth it just to see the excitement on people face when they find out the type of food that I’m selling is amazing I have clientele coming from all over town to support the movement which is that much worth all what I’m doing
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
So if I have friends to come out, hang out and we had a night on the town. My favorite spot will be Taste Bar and kitchen. I was executive chef there for three years and I love the ambience and taste. I would also stop by savoy which is located in the 3rd Ward area. That’s one of my favorite spots to go and just chill. We will probably hit Show biz movie theater for a couple bowling things that I’m not just do with family and friends it’s always fun. Last but not least I will stop by and show them a nice time and have some drinks and the big casino which is located in downtown. Houston is also a place where I was the executive chef there for a little bit over 12 years.
