We had the good fortune of connecting with Jessica Hernandez and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jessica, how do you think about risk?
In 2017 with my husbands suport I decided to resign from my job in logistics and pursue in going full time into Our catering business. It was a risk to take but at the same time it was now or never.

We started our business as a side hustle, something we enjoyed doing for family and friends. originaly we started selling grilled chicken and Parilladas. We started calling our selves “Pollos y parilladas Las brasas”.

After a year we decided to include street tacos into our menu.
It just took one event for us to realize this was it! this is our specialty.
In 2020 before the pandemic we changed our name to “Las Brasas tacos & grill catering”.

It was the change we needed and it has been amazing since then.
Taco platters were added to our menu and have been a hit since then.

What should our readers know about your business?
We specialize in private catering, cook on site street tacos.

We try to be unique, diffrent from others. We included our touch in our set up , our presentation and our food.

We love hearing the compliments and those three important things.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I will like to dedicade my shout out to my team.

We have an amazing team who stand with us. They are amazing, hustlers, fun, hardworking and most important family.

They are the ones whom motivate us to keep going, to move foward and we thank them for doing what they do.
