Hi Jessica, is there a quote or affirmation that’s meaningful to you?
“Mindset is what separates the best from the rest.” I believe in this 1000000%. Since joining the small business community, I’ve had the privilege of meeting a lot of great people. I’ve been able to make connections and new friendships. Some have taught me valuable life skills, both positive & negative. So I am truly a believer of mindsets differentiating great people from mediocre people. Set & know your goals and only associate yourself with people who are going to help you advance your business forward and/or help you as a person grow in life.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
HTXcraftss is a local Houston business- primarily selling Houston themed merch. A couple months ago I started getting custom orders through Etsy and now I’m making items for all different teams/ cities so it’s crazy to see how much we have expanded in the last year or so. My work is traveling all over the US and I couldn’t be more proud. I am learning and growing every day so feedback is always appreciated.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I’m a homebody 😭 but if I had to go anywhere it would definitely be to a Astros/ Rockets game FOR SURE. We would go grab a bite and drinks at Christian’s Tailgate and then head to a game. Another day I would take her to a local boutique named Lovela- where they feature a lot of local businesses and their items..

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
The small business community ALL THE WAY. The love other small businesses have showed me since beginning my journey with HTXcraftss has been surreal. From a simple shoutout on their social media, referring people, to attending popups/ events & simply supporting one another… these are just to name a few.
