We had the good fortune of connecting with Jessica Jocelyn and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jessica, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I never imagined I would be doing what I do today, it was a long journey of acceptance and of faith. I graduated from University of Houston believing I would land a job in Oil & Gas but at that time there was a recession, it was a very competitive time and I didn’t firmly believe in many of the companies cultures where I began working. In 2014 I had my youngest son and everything changed. I had a major awakening and everything shifted my perspective from a place of uncertainty into accepting my purpose. It took me a while to understand and believe what my spirit guides and angels kept telling me, that I was here to help people and to serve divine with my gifts and with my story. But again, I didn’t trust that this would turn into a business because my intention was only to serve and I didn’t have a good relationship with money. Therefore, I wouldn’t charge anything for my sessions in the beginning and became I very depleted. My spirit guides kept motivating me and pushing me to continue my work and to also learn to see it valuable. As I began to see my work as valuable, divine kept sending me new clients and many new people that needed my help to overcome unhealthy patterns or to co-create new ones. This is how my business began to grow considerably, as I began to trust myself & divine. Today I feel grateful and honored that through my personal story and connection through divine, I get to be a part of many souls healing journey. Life is good!
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
For a couple of years now I have been channeling messages from angels & spirit guides. I have been coaching present and future changemakers that can’t get out of stagnant mindsets. I have learned that by reawakening our connection to our authentic selves we begin to relinquish stagnant and limiting programming that is fruitless to our soul experience. Thus far my healing sessions have evolved into a combination of channeled messages & activation’s, etheric healing & mindfully real coaching. This is what I love to do, to reawaken and connect human souls to a place of infinite abundance and connect them to their authentic selves. We tend to forget who we are throughout this human journey and we already have all we need inside this beautiful vessel. My mindfully real coaching is what sets me apart from other healers. I think people have this perception that divine is boring or black and white but it’s not, divine is pretty amazingly colorful and hysterical at times. I try to keep my sessions as real as possible, I channel the messages with love and compassion but also try to keep the emotion and personality from my clients divine team. Accepting to be of service for divine was such a challenge because I had to learn to not only trust divine but to trust myself. I feel so empowered through my awakening, that I know that what I do now is my purpose and I’m here to serve. Divine always has a bigger plan for you, it takes faith and courage to trust the plan. With lots of practice and patience, I’m at place of such abundance and compassion. I am a powerful and resilient Goddess! I want the world to know that there are these amazing divine beings awaiting to be invited into our lives. Whoever you believe in higher power, whether it is Allah, Jesus, Mother Mary, Krishna, Buddha, Oshun, Lady of Guadalupe, they ultimate work for an amazing Creator that is here to see us live a life of love and compassion. Let’s learn to be kind and respectful to each other, we ultimately work for the same divine team.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Houston is such an amazing place to visit! I’d love to take my Houston tourist to the Houston Museum districts, The Museum of Fine Arts is pretty amazing. Another favorite place in H-town is the Contemporary Art Museum, it has many well know artist work that I love! Herman Park is my favorite to visit and lunch locations. This is a place I have been coming since I was a little girl and it is beautifully updated and manicured. For the foodies, H-town has amazing restaurants, my favorite are hole in the walls and I have a sweet tooth issue here so I’ll begin with dessert. Voodoo Doughnut is my favorite! You can taste the love and inspiration in each bite of each doughnut. Angels Churros is closer to Cypress, but it is my kids favorite churro joint, so many topping flavors and the place has awesome vibes! For lunch and cocktail I’d stop by Xochi or El Topo for the best Barbacoa tacos with homemade tortillas and their popular papa costra. Yummy A family favorite restaurant that has been in Houston for the longest is Dodo’s Chicken, like I said “hole in the wall,” but the food is so rich in Colombian flavor that I have been lunching there for over 20 years now.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I could not be where I am today without Creator of All Beings, my spirit guides and my divine team! The relationship that I have with my divine team is unbelievably amazing and such a blessing in my life. It is through them that I was able to transform the darkness into a place of such gratitude and compassion. My divine team continues to inspire me and show not just me but the people that cross my path such abundance and inspiration. This path has not been easy, I also feel so grateful for my husband, he is my rock. It takes a lot of courage to trust this journey, specially when you are married with kids and I’m so blessed to have them in my life. Throughout this journey, divine has connected me with so many kind and compassionate people that have supported me from the beginning, and I’m genuinely grateful for them. Thank you to my soul sisters and my mindfulness coach for always having my back! This journey has really showed me how resilient I am and I feel so loved and empowered!
