We had the good fortune of connecting with Jessica Mitchell and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jessica, what matters most to you?
The most important value to me would be remaining humble once you make it to success. Always remember where you from and what brought to your current stage in life.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am a freelance makeup artist who serves all of Houston and surrounding cities. I have also traveled from state to state for bookings.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
A night out on the town for me is a dope vibe with a smooth drink and lots of laughter. I’m not so much of a “club goer” but I love a great restaurant with a live band. A few of my favs are Bar 5015, Lost & Found, Phil and Derek’s and the famous of them all Pappadeaux!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I dedicate this shoutout to my biggest supporter, my biggest critic and my biggest motivator; my son. My son is what keeps my pushing to be even bigger and greater than what I am. Everything I do and want to become is all for him.
