Hi Jking, what role has risk played in your life or career?
Risk taking is inevitable when starting any business. To me it’s about taking the chance on something you’re passionate about which outweighs the risk in most situations. Being an independent musician and entrepreneur you are faced with these challenges often. In my personal experiences i have taken some losses, which in turn leads to lessons and a better understanding of your next steps to achieve your goals.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
First off Being independent and self-taught has not been an easy process. It has taken many years, late nights and early mornings in the making to build Jking and Hybrid Nation into the established names they are today. Every accomplishment I’ve made pushed me further along my path to greatness. Being on the business side of the entertainment industry and the creative at the same time will teach you a lot. most importantly to be knowledgeable about what you do, as to not fall victim to those who will take advantage of you. because believe me they are out there. Most importantly to know your worth and what you can bring to the table in every situation.

I’m a Independent solo singer, song writer, model. Born in queens New York now residing in Austin TX. I’ve Studied in hip hop, break dancing and various Arts. I’ve performed at many major events including: Sxsw, Texas heat wave tour, Fiesta, SpringBreak south padre, Texas Relays, Circuit Of The Americas, Tower of the Americas, miss America Latina pageants, Miss Texas Miss USA Miss Universe Pageants, various fashion shows and more.

I’ve appeared on major networks including: Vh1, Telemundo, Fox, abc, San Antonio Living, Day Time at 9, SA Express News, cnbc and others.

I’ve opened shows and done events with: Ti, Cardi B, snoop dogg, Boosie bad ass, Gorilla Zoe, Migos, Yo Goti, NBA Young Boy, Kumbia Kings, jholiday, adrian marcell, Kirko Bangz, Mike jones, Trae, Slim Thug,Twista, Baby bash, Bone Thugs, Wu tang, lil flip, boaz from queen of the south, coolio, naughty by nature, Ace Hood, Nippsey Hustle, RiffRaff, Paulwall, Goyayo, Yogotti, KidFrost, Mc Magic, Lilrob, Spice1, nuflavor, Spanish fly, Members of Swisha House, dope house, Universal records and much more.

I am the founder of Hybird Nation / Hybrid Modeling located in Austin TX.

I’ve been published in Local & international magazines one of which being featured at the Beverly hills film festival.

Im passionate about my craft and creating memorable music and events. I love giving back to the fans and community through charity events. some of them benefiting the battered woman’s shelter, haven for hope, Austin’s angels, dells children’s hospital, San Antonio food bank, SAFE.

I want the world to keep a look out for my latest music being distributed by GT Digital and Empire Records. ( songs: Hit My Line, Barrack & Dreams ) Big S/o to all my supporters team mates and fans the love you show means the world to me.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
First i would take them to eat at my favorite restaurants like eddies vs, terry blacks and asian fusion 1618.

We would explore Austin Tx by hitting my friday night residency at bijou lounge on fridays, swing by voodoo room, bar hop on 6th street, check out rose room at the domain and other night life spots.

we would definitely do some out doors stuff like green belt hiking, paddle boarding lady bird lake and boating on lake travis.
