We had the good fortune of connecting with Jose Sanchez and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jose, what habits do you feel helped you succeed?
“My success in real estate is rooted in a foundation of hard work and excellence cultivated during my years as a construction supervisor for a luxury custom home builder. This experience has endowed me with a deep understanding of the intricacies of home construction, enabling me to provide clients with insightful guidance. My journey from construction to real estate has instilled in me a unique perspective, allowing me to convey the true value of properties to clients with both knowledge and eloquence.”
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
“In my business journey, I faced the challenge of not having my family’s traditional support, a narrative often seen in success stories. Overcoming this hurdle, I’ve grown to be a top producer, consistently achieving high transactions. The lesson learned is that genuine support can come from unexpected places. In response, I’ve become not just a successful professional but a catalyst for change, offering opportunities and impacting lives.
My commitment extends beyond transactions; I believe in expressing gratitude. Yearly client appreciation events reflect this, emphasizing the importance of genuine relationships. My story is one of resilience, unexpected success, and a dedication to making a positive impact, one client and family at a time.”
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
“Well this will truly be very difficult to answer as in Houston, TX. We have different seasons with various options to explore within those seasons. Lets start off with the beginning quarter of the year: Can’t go without starting off with the “The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo” is one of the iconic events with has a massive entertainment with traditional rodeo competitions, educational programs, community involvement, carnival and so much more. Food to eat during this time will have to be Bar-B-Q. Then on the Second quarter of the year I have to mentioned: Enjoy the outdoors activities in “Buffalo Bayou Park” or visiting the new and improved “The Houston Zoo”. I encourage to take a breath of the fresh air Houston has to offer to end this quarter with famous snow cones with fruit baskets with Tajin. The Third quarter in the itinerary: “Discovery Green” typically host a lot of free events during this time. I will also not leave behind the following “Space Center Houston” and “Hurricane Harbor Splashtown”. Food to eat during this time will have to be pizza and hamburgers. This is were I would love to go is “Hopdoddy Burger Bar”. Final is the Forth quarter of the year: I would recommended “Texas Renaissance Festival” and “Magical Winter Lights”. This is the best time of the year. Since this quarter falls on my birthday month :). Food is the old Mexicans tradition, such as Menudo, Pozole and Tamales.”
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
“I owe much of my success to the incredible support of my wife, who has been my pillar of strength in raising our four children. Her encouragement has been my motivation, reminding me of the importance of values and family. Her unwavering support has not only shaped my personal resilience but has also translated into meaningful connections with clients. I am grateful for the trust of past clients, who, in turn, have become advocates, contributing to my ongoing success in the real estate industry.”
