Meet Joseph and Sable Petry | One Flesh Creations

We had the good fortune of connecting with Joseph and Sable Petry and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Joseph and Sable, can you tell us more about your background and the role it’s played in shaping who you are today?
We are from SouthWest (Alief) Houston, Tx. Growing up was fun and yet difficult, there was a lot of single parent homes, gangs, violences and drugs. Once we where married we knew that this was not the environment we wanted to raise our family in. With Joseph dad being a pastor it made a bit easier for us to make a transition in our life. Having God first which keeps us grounded and humble.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Everything we do at One Flesh Creation is done out of love. We enjoy creating and customizing products for our customers such as T-Shirts, home decor etc. It make us proud to see people to use or wear our products. Prayer and patience helped us get to where we are now. It was not easy seeing other in the same business but we knew our purpose is to spread love though our work. We learned to always pray and stay focus on the bigger picture. We want people to know everything we do is with love and we value our customers.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Wow where should we start! lol Well you have to stop at Timmy Chan on the south side of town for a wing dinner with rice and gravy but make sure its the one on Cullen and Reed. For good food and Zydeco dancing we love to go to Jax bar and grill on i10 and Shepherd. Main Event would be a good place for a family outing. Check out one of many escape room with friends or family. Discovery Green is also a good place for the family to enjoy and picnic in the park or a stroll in the park. Last but not least for good bbq you must visit Ray’s bbq shack on Old Spanish Trail.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
First we would like to give honor to God who is the head of our life. Secondly we would like to thank our church home Fellowship M.B Church where Victor Petry is the pastor.
