We had the good fortune of connecting with Joshua Keith and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Joshua, is there a quote or affirmation that’s meaningful to you?
“It’s not about the hustle it’s about the heart posture, everything will fall into place.”

I love this because everything I do is for My Lord and savior Jesus Christ! I definitely need to be diligent but in that diligence I can believe that God has it all worked out for my good.

What should our readers know about your business?
My brother and I started a roofing and solar company back in April 27 of last year in 2022 and we both come from a background of business. He has more of a management style and I have more of a sales style, and so we figured it would be a great opportunity to come together and make an incredible business. My background is in competitive sports, specifically football. I played professionally and was inline to make a team, but I was cut. This kind of gave me a chip on my shoulder to be successful and when Covid happened I found roofing. My brother was managing as the AGM at a country club and was used to dealing with high end clientele and different challenges! He also has a degree in business and hospitality from James Madison University.

Going into business in general is a challenge and this year we have been faced with so so many different unique challenges, but I believe that it’s the way you approach hard things with a passion for understanding and then doing what you say you will do and holding your word as bond! That’s really important.

Another lesson is that the pendulum always swings both ways. That when bad things happen, good things tend to happen also. It’s all about managing the highs and lows and staying neutral through it all!

We have grown by building processes and systems that are automated and efficient. We have 10x from last year’s revenue and looking to have a similar trajectory for next year.

Roofing Technologies Unlimited is on the way to becoming a one of a kind roofing and solar and energy company that has never existed before. We do roofing | Solar | Energy projects all over Texas in cities like Houston, Dallas/Fort Worth, and Austin. We are rapidly growing and looking for sales reps in all of those regions.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Definitely wake up grab a round of golf at blackhorse

Grab brunch at the breakfast klub

Maybe try and get in on a game whether it’s Texans/rockets or the astros

Then maybe get dinner at vic and Anthony’s

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would say the REVOLT mastermind needs a little love for some of our success. They’ve helped us 10x our business in the last year with some of the teachings.
