Hi Joy, how does your business contribute to your community and make a difference to others?
Access to the internet is increasingly important for full participation in America’s economic, political and social life. People are using the Internet to find career opportunities, lower prices for goods and services, work remote or start their own business, acquire new skills using distance learning, and make better informed decisions about their healthcare needs. The ability to use technology is becoming increasingly important in the workplace, and jobs in the rapidly growing information technology sector pay almost significantly more than the average private sector wage. Through Begin A Brand “Tech Talk” program we are bridging the digital divide by collaborating with under-served senior living facilities to provide residents hands-on tutorials on how to navigate the latest technologies and telecommunications making them adverse to telecommunications and technologies making them less to make them adverse to exploitation.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Considerate of budget, I always start with the freebies throughout Houston. I love the outdoors so prior to COVID I would suggest a picnic and play at Herman Park or Discovery Green. One of my favorite things about living in Houston is the broad range of restaurants so I would suggest Turkey Leg Hut, Crumbville, Kulture or a place contingent upon their food preference.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
There isn’t a single day when I do not thank God for giving me such an supportive, sincere, and encouraging husband. He is my partner in every facet of life and has been my soundboard in making conscious decisions that have projected my enterprises forward.
