We had the good fortune of connecting with Jude Yahsraal and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jude, what matters most to you?
The value that matters most to me is authenticity. It ensures clarity of who I am, what I need, and what I want, enabling me to serve others genuinely and effectively. By staying true to myself, I can build meaningful relationships and contribute in ways that truly reflect my core values and intentions.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
The Pretty Coach is a spiritual beauty brand that promotes both inner and outer beauty by encouraging self-knowledge and spiritual practices. We empower women to connect with the divine within through intuitive tarot readings and channeled messages. Additionally, our online hair extension business allows the pretty girls with pretty souls to rock pretty bundles, enhancing their outer beauty while nurturing their inner selves. What sets us apart is our holistic approach, blending spiritual growth with physical beauty. We are most proud of creating a community where women feel supported in their journey towards self-discovery and self-expression. The excitement comes from witnessing transformations that occur when our clients embrace their true selves and radiate beauty from within.
How did you get to where you are today business-wise? Was it easy? If not, how did you overcome the challenges?
Getting to this point has been tough, as I’ve chosen to fight to show up as my authentic self in a world that often promotes conformity. This journey has sometimes made me appear as a troublemaker, unstable, and inefficient. Overcoming these challenges involved staying true to my passions and desires from my youth. I focused on activities that lit me up and drew from my deep self-knowledge to understand where I should be and what I should be doing. Embracing the various seasons of my life and learning from each experience allowed me to persist and thrive despite the obstacles. By staying committed to my vision and values, I’ve built a brand that reflects who I am and what I stand for.
What are the lessons you’ve learned along the way?
Throughout this journey, I’ve learned the importance of authenticity and resilience. Staying true to oneself, even when it’s challenging, is crucial for personal and professional growth. I’ve also realized the value of embracing change and viewing each season of life as an opportunity for learning and growth. Building a business requires patience, persistence, and a willingness to adapt. It’s essential to listen to your inner voice and let it guide you towards your true purpose. Another key lesson is the power of community and support; having a network of like-minded individuals can provide encouragement and inspiration during difficult times. Lastly, balancing inner and outer beauty creates a holistic approach that resonates deeply with our clients.
What do you want the world to know about you or your brand and story?
I want the world to know that The Pretty Coach is more than just a beauty brand; it’s a movement that celebrates the fusion of inner and outer beauty. We are dedicated to helping women connect with their divine selves and express their unique beauty confidently. Our journey has been one of authenticity, resilience, and unwavering commitment to our values. We believe that true beauty comes from within and that by nurturing our spiritual selves, we can enhance our outer appearance. Our brand story is one of empowerment, transformation, and self-love. We invite women everywhere to join us in this journey of self-discovery and to embrace their true beauty inside and out.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend were visiting, I’d keep it intimate and meaningful. We’d start with drinks, good food, and great conversation with family and close friends. For a night out, we’d enjoy live music spots featuring local talent, smooth jazz, and amazing vocalists. We’d visit places like the former Red Cat Jazz Cafe or Café 4212. Throughout the week, we’d cherish moments with meaningful music and enriching conversations, enjoying the company of a small, close-knit group.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’d like to shout out my bio and soul family! My mom and dad, Mrs. Regina and Mr. Clyde Ivy Jr., deserve an honorable mention because without them, there would be no me. Also, my siblings, who teach me about love and forgiveness, and my soul family for the same. Though this often shows up through disagreements, envy, hurt, and unresolved issues, these experiences make me appreciate support, resolutions, healing, and joy.
