Meet Judith Nisenson | Founder of Women’sWRK, a Certified Life Coach (ICF-ACC) and Betrayal Trauma Coach (APSATS-CPC) specializing in helping women who have betrayed their partners.

We had the good fortune of connecting with Judith Nisenson and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Judith, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
Infidelity does not just affect two people. It impacts families, children and entire relational systems. When betrayal is handled through silence, denial or unresolved shame, those patterns echo for years.
The women I work with are often carrying enormous guilt, but guilt alone does not create change. When a woman learns how to separate her behavior from her identity, she becomes capable of growth instead of self-punishment. She communicates more directly. She sets healthier boundaries. She stops expecting others to read her mind and starts expressing her needs clearly.
That shift affects how she shows up in every relationship in her life. Whether a marriage survives or not, the deeper work is about breaking cycles of avoidance and resentment. When one woman chooses integrity over secrecy, the ripple effect is powerful.

What should our readers know about your business?
I have been an entrepreneur for most of my life. From a very young age it was instilled in me that my goal was to be independent and self-sufficient. I started my own business in the fitness industry in 2001, and through that experience I learned that integrity is what truly sets people apart.
I tend to be a straight shooter and tell it like it is, but it took time to get there. I had to do my own WRK first. That personal work is what allows me to guide others with honesty and clarity.
What makes my work different now is that I am helping normalize a conversation that has long been kept in silence. Women who have betrayed their partners often feel completely alone when their lives begin to crumble. I want them to know they are not alone.
At the end of the day, no one else gets to dictate your worth. The sooner a woman understands that, the easier it becomes to realign with her integrity and begin the work of rebuilding herself.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Houston is known for its incredible food and vibrant arts scene, so I always tell friends to start with the museums. The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston is one of my favorites. They consistently have really interesting exhibits and it’s a great way to spend a few hours.
For something more active, morning walks at Memorial Park are a beautiful way to get some movement and enjoy the city. I also love Bikram Yoga on South Boulevard for a centering sweat session.
When it comes to food, Houston never disappoints. Koffeteria has some of the best pastries in the city, and Xóchitl downtown is a must if you want to experience authentic Mexican cuisine. If someone needs a late-night bite, the chicken and waffle taco at Velvet Taco is always a favorite.
And of course, coffee is essential. I love grabbing a LaLa Latte from LaLa Land, but if friends are staying with me, they’ll get a homemade latte from my Breville.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Two people come to mind. First is my husband and soulmate, Adam Nisenson, who works with men navigating betrayal trauma. His book A Man’s Guide to Partner Betrayal is the first written specifically to support men going through that experience. Watching the work he does and the impact he has on men who often suffer in silence has been incredibly inspiring to me.
The second person is my mom. Growing up she would always kick me out of the kitchen and tell me I didn’t belong there. She would say I belonged out in the world helping others and making a difference in how people heal. At the time I didn’t fully understand what she meant, but looking back I realize she saw something in me early on. Her belief in my ability to help people has stayed with me ever since.
