We had the good fortune of connecting with Julio Vazquez and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Julio, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
I think everything in life is a risk. Whether it’s good or bad. You just have to know how to react to the consequences of taking a risk.. I wouldn’t be podcasting right now if I let the thought of, “what if no one listens?” hold me back. Nothing in life is guaranteed, so you can’t be afraid of taking that leap.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
We are a platform that gives any artist the opportunity to be heard. I’m excited to see how much more this can grow and to see what opportunities come from the seeds we’ve planted. It definitely hasn’t been easy to get where I am today but consistency and hard work have helped immensely. Life can easily sidetrack you, but it’s all part of the journey. The road can be a long one but you can do anything you set your mind to.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Pitch 25 is a must! Perfect for content creators and an all around good time and great vibes. Let’s not forget about Truck Yard, right across the street with one of my favorite cheesesteaks. You can’t go wrong with any spots in Midtown!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to dedicate this interview to my dad who passed away in the beginning of the year. I want to say thank you to my family: mom, dad, brother and sisters. My beautiful girlfriend for always believing in me and for supporting everything I do. I want to give a shout out and a big thank you to everybody who’s been a part of this journey. Everyone who’s helped me start podcasting and the people who have helped me throughout the whole process of running our own studio.
