We had the good fortune of connecting with Justin Chinn and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Justin, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
At a very young age, I have always been interested into fashion and the arts. I felt and still feel that I was born for the lights, cameras and action. It wasn’t until I fully understood the fact that it was very much possible to be able to do your passion full time and actually get paid to do so. With that being said, I decided to fine tune my focus and drive and I decided to put my all into my craft.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
At a very young age I knew I wanted to be a household name. Growing up, being a fashion designer wasn’t the popular thing, so I though. It wasn’t until the age of 12 that I took my passion for fashion and designing serious and started sketching clothes and shoes. I hated my last name growing up and was determined to drop it when I got of age. Little did I know, my name was different and unique and kept the people guessing. I turned something that I was often teased about and turned it into a brand and the rest is history. I’ve been blessed to encounter many different celebs, do numerous of collaborations, sit in rooms and gleam from those who are where I desire to be. I’ve launched a mini gender neutral luxury athlesuire wear collection. There’s so much more history to be made, and I’ll be one of the next history makers and barrier breakers of my time. Mark my words! My desire is to help others as I travel along this thing called life. I’ve realized anything, any challenges I have faced and will encounter in the future are all bigger than me. I can’t crumble or fold, there is somebody depending on me. My end goal and desire is to make such a great impact that’ll let the world know that JCHINN was here!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to dedicate my shoutout to my supporters. Which are my family and friends, they’ve encouraged me from the beginning and they continue to encourage me. They’re my biggest cheerleaders and they help me believe that there’s nothing I can’t do. Which is true because it’s a mind game, and if I put my mind to it; I Can & Will Do It! I’ll also dedicate this to the ones who have said and continue to say I can’t. The best revenge is success and I’ll continue to give them something to talk about; they motivate me the most!
