We had the good fortune of connecting with Kailyn Edmonson and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Kailyn, how did you come up with the idea for your business?
I came up with my business idea because of personal issues within myself as well as some of my family members. I felt lead to use the tools I had to motivate or inspire at least one person
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I am a board certified Christian Counselor. What sets me apart from other Counselors is that im under 40 but wise and experienced in what I do. I actually started off with just a non profit that spoke to women of all ages as a way to share my story about anxiety and depression. I faced alot of challenges because I was so nervous of how other would react to me having these issues and trying to become a mentor to them. It hasn’t been easy but definitely worth it. I studied hard to expand my brand which let me into Christian counseling so it all pulls together. The lessons I have learned along the way are never give up or let others in your ear. What I would like others to know is that you have to be consistent and plan how you want things to go in business. That takes time and effort but never loose sight of the goal at handLet’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
if my best friend was visiting the area I would take them to cotton creek winery I love the environment there. I probably would also take them to studio movie grill who doesn’t love a good dinner and movie. Also my husband is a well known dj radio personality so of course our family is tons of fun, its never a dull moment in my home
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to recognize my baby boy, with challenges he has face he still continues to be a loving human being. Also my husband for always pushing me to be better than before. He always make sure I know he supports everything I do
