Hi Karl-Erik, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind the success of my resume-writing business is my relentless commitment to providing value to my clients. My focus has been on understanding my clients’ unique career goals and the current challenges they face in this competitive job market, and then dedicating myself to delivering tailored solutions that meet and exceed their expectations by creating an ATS-friendly resume that tells a complete story of their professional endeavors. I enjoy positively impacting my clients’ careers, whether it be helping them land their dream job by creating a resume that secures a key interview or even simply building my clients’ confidence to apply for a position they would not have applied for otherwise. My success is intricately linked with my clients’s success, which is driven by my passion for innovation, continuous improvement, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact in my clients’ lives.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
The most fulfilling aspect of my business is hearing positive feedback from my clients after they begin using their new resumes and knowing that I played an integral part in their career search and ultimate success in landing that next outstanding opportunity. I am most excited about continuing to help as many clients as possible while scaling my business. When I started writing resumes professionally, I faced several challenges because I had no reputation, real experience, or even a plan. I began writing resumes through Craigslist and learned a lot during this time by making lots of mistakes, listening to my clients, and adapting quickly. Learning from my mistakes and thinking critically about every resume I wrote is how I started to improve my processes and become stronger as a writer. I want the world to know that you don’t have to have lots of money, a lengthy track record of relevant experience, or invest lots of time into starting a successful business – you just have to get started and stay consistent throughout the process while always putting the client’s needs first. Delivering a world-class experience for my clients is key. I want them to not only land the interview after partnering with me, but also feel confident in their new resume. If it weren’t for my current clients and all of the referrals I receive from my existing happy clients, there would be no KStar Professional Writing Services.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
We would grab lunch at the Irvine Spectrum Mall and then head to Laguna Beach for a day at the beach! Irvine and all of the surrounding areas have lots of things to offer. We would enjoy many hiking spots, restaurants, biking trails, shopping, festivals, music and performing arts. In the evening, we would check out the local night market or go to a rooftop bar.
