We had the good fortune of connecting with Karrington Cole and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Karrington, how has your work-life balance changed over time?
I’m a new mom and i also run two of my business “Karrislayedme & kaccollection” on my own . At first before my daughter i literally had a flexible schedule but now my schedule has to follow hers . When i create my schedule & hours i do it revolving around my daughter . I will shut down my business at 5pm that way the rest of my time is spent with her . So I’m not drained and can give her my all

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I began lashing in late 2018 & i sort of gave up then i began selling mink lashes while i was in beauty school . What sets me apart from others is my drive and passion for lashes ! I am not just selling lashes anybody can do that ! I wanted to make girls & women feel that same thing i felt when i put on lashes which is more confident.Something about lashes made me feel unstoppable & powerful and i just wanted everyone to feel the same . Being a business owner is not easy you are literally working 24/7 instead of 9-5 but it’s worth it . The lessons i learned and that I’m learning is that everything takes time . You have to be consistent & dedicated if it is something you really want to do . It takes a lot of hard work & discipline but if you see others doing it you know it’s something that can be accomplished. I want my brand to be a world wide brand not just local i want people to see KAC & know that they are going to get quality lashes & a lot of compliments .

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
The best place to visit here in Indianapolis in would probably be our Childerns museums if you have kids ! Bars & clubs – broad ripple or Downtown Indy
Food – longs donuts , R&R extreme wings , Teejays sweet tooth
