We had the good fortune of connecting with Katricia Chantell and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Katricia, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
I’ve always loved forming visions in my mind and making them come to life. Nothing defeats the feeling of seeing your creation right in front of your eyes just how you imagined.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Katricia Chantell Productions is a business that captures every important moment from weddings, to graduations, to a fun night out. You name it and she’ll make sure you remember it for the rest of your life. If you don’t remember, don’t worry because it may be caught on video too. I am most proud of how far i’ve come. A leap of faith really goes a long way. It wasn’t easy at all but patience and faith is the key to success. As long as you wait your turn and continue to see the goals that you set, I believe you can strive to the above and beyond. Along the way I’ve learned that not everything comes out how you want it, so keep going at it until it’s just that. Don’t ever give up. If you give up you’ll never see what you could’ve came up with. I want the world to know that anything is possible. One day KC will shoot your favorite artists video.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend visited I’d simply take them around the town. Houston to me is very eye catching so riding through the city at night is definitely a fun vibe. We could hit up a couple food trucks and end the night posted on a rooftop stargazing. It really depends on the week/weekend and what occasions are occurring because that makes a big fun difference.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to send a shoutout to God for making everything happen for me. Also my mom, step dad and uncle for helping me invest in on anything that helped with my business, big or small. Special thanks to my real cousins and friends who take time out of their lives to support me whether it’s a repost or a referral. It all goes a long way and I appreciate it from the bottom of my heart.
