The inspiration behind Harmon Polish is deeply personal, rooted in the incredible legacy of my aunt, Patricia Harmon, who bravely faced breast cancer until she left us in 2002. Her impact on my life, marked by resilience and a radiant spirit, led me to create something meaningful in her memory. Harmon Polish, a vegan nail polish brand, is my way of translating her unwavering positivity into a tangible form. Naming each polish after a positive affirmation is my homage to her enduring strength. These shades represent not just colors but mantras that echo her optimism and the way she embraced life. With Harmon Polish, I aim to share not only a line of beautiful nail polishes but a piece of her legacy — a reminder that strength and affirmation can be as vivid as the colors we wear.

Embarking on the journey of growing my business has been nothing short of a transformative experience. Toulouse in River Oaks is undeniably one of my favorite dining spots in Houston. The brunch menu is amazing and the staff is always friendly. The setting is so Instagrammable; you might end up with more pics than bites!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
A heartfelt shoutout to my incredible aunt, whose memory continues to have a profound impact on my life despite her passing. Losing her to breast cancer when I was just 13 was a devastating experience. Yet, her spirit endures, a guiding force that influences my daily journey. The lessons she imparted, the warmth of her love, and the strength she displayed during her battle with cancer remain vivid in my mind. She taught me resilience, strength, and the importance of cherishing every moment. As the years go by, I find solace in the enduring influence she has had on my character and choices. This shoutout is not just a remembrance; it’s a celebration of an extraordinary woman who, though physically absent, remains very much alive in the lessons she taught and the love she shared.
