Hi Kevin, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I started FanEase with a vision to enhance storytelling for the emerging generation. In an era where smartphones have become the new TV sets, I realized the need for a more personalized viewing experience. The idea stemmed from the desire to eliminate the need for audiences to search on external platforms like Google for relevant information while watching content. I aimed to create a platform where content creators could seamlessly inform their audience while integrating an e-commerce experience that benefits both the audience and the creator.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
What sets me apart is my deep knowledge and understanding of the space I aim to create with FanEase. I envision a “real estate” model for videos, recognizing the inherent value that many overlook. I take pride in my relentless commitment to cultivating my network and expertise, which has propelled me to where I am today. I am most excited about the potential for FanEase to revolutionize the digital content landscape and provide creators with a powerful tool to engage their audience.

Getting to where I am today business-wise has been a journey of dedication and perseverance. It hasn’t been easy, but it’s been incredibly rewarding. I’ve worked tirelessly to build and nurture my network while continuously refining my skills and vision. Each day presents new challenges, but it’s the daily grind that fuels my passion and drive.

Overcoming challenges has required patience, resilience, and unwavering belief in the vision of FanEase. One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is the importance of staying true to your vision, even when others may not immediately see its potential. It’s essential to remain patient and prepared for the right opportunities to materialize. Additionally, I’ve learned the value of adaptability and the importance of surrounding myself with a supportive network.

I want the world to know that FanEase is not just a brand but a vision for the future of digital content engagement. It’s a tool designed to empower creators to connect more deeply with their audience and unlock the full potential of their content. Despite the challenges and setbacks, I remain steadfast in my commitment to realizing this vision. FanEase is here to usher in a new era of storytelling and audience interaction, and I’m excited to be at the forefront of this transformation.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
My favorite place in Houston to foster creativity is Brass Tacks in EaDo. Nestled in the heart of the city, this coffee house exudes an invigorating energy that serves as my creative oasis. Surrounded by the bustling atmosphere and diverse creatives, I find inspiration and focus to fuel my thoughts and ideas. The vibrant ambiance and the hum of activity contribute to a sense of productivity and purpose, making each visit to Brass Tacks a truly enriching experience.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
There are several individuals who have been instrumental in shaping my journey with FanEase. Firstly, my mentor Tony Wyllie deserves immense credit. He recognized potential in me during my college years and provided me with my first opportunity in PR within the NFL. His belief in me was pivotal in setting me on this path. In high school, Ralph Cooper offered me my first experience in sports broadcasting, which ignited my passion for the field and laid the foundation for my future endeavors. As a solopreneur, having a trusted circle is invaluable. My development partner Bryan Weinert has been exceptional in translating my ideas into tangible realities. His expertise and dedication have been crucial to the evolution of FanEase.
Additionally, my finance partner Nicole Nguyen has served as a valuable sounding board, providing insights and support that have helped navigate the challenges of entrepreneurship. Last but certainly not least, my children have played an essential role as well. They have served as invaluable test subjects, validating the appeal of FanEase to a younger generation and inspiring me to continue pushing forward with this endeavor.
