We had the good fortune of connecting with Kevin Green II and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kevin, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Really the reason I started my business was based on control and income. I had been hired and let go from a string of jobs leading up to the decision. I was honestly just sick of being an expendable piece. Most of the jobs at the time hired me to only help during and inventory period or major holiday and when it was over they let go the newly hired workers. Also the job I had right before starting my business had hired to many people which resulted in hours being drastically cut. I was making near what I needed to support myself so I went into business for myself. I have more control, I love designing, and my clients really appreciate the work that I do for them.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Debryne Graphics is a media company that specializes in graphic design, photography and videography. What sets my company apart from other designers is my artistry. There are many great designers out there in the world but very few design with an artistic flare. That is also what makes me so proud about what I have built. My creative mind and wanting to have my work showcased for the world drives me to put my all into each and every design. This wasn’t an overnight thing either. I’ve been designing for almost a decade and I feel as though I’m finally starting to get recognition for my work. I perfected my craft for 4 years before I went into business and over the years I’ve learned and experienced so much. What I want the world to know about my brand is that Debryne Graphics is a creative, professional design company and we look forward to helping you in the future.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
First to kick things off I would take my friend to eat. No chain restaurants he would go to enjoy some good Carribean food at G&G Restaurant. Then during the day we would enjoy some good PG fun. At night ww can explore the strip downtown and enjoy the night life that Tallahassee has to offer. Finally to end the trip a nice breakfast at my favorite place called Woodchuck’s.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Well first and foremost I want to thank God for walking with me on this journey. It was been my faith that has kept me strong through many difficult moments being an entrepreneur and blessed me with many successes as well. There are tons of people to thank. My beautiful wife for supporting my decision to start my business. Without her I wouldn’t have lasted as long as I did in this competitive business. my friend Shola Mimiko of VIP Automotive Detailing & Car Care Services (Tallahassee, FL), for believing in my talents, keeping me motivated, pushing me to be the best version of myself I can be and supporting me during the early stages of my business. Also my friends MJ Rainwater of Rainwater Consulting (Tampa, FL) and Alan Speed of Speed Solutions (Tallahassee, FL) for providing me with opportunities to expand my brand, meet new people and showcase my talents. They have truly been a blessing to my business.
