We had the good fortune of connecting with Khalill Ali and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Khalill, what’s something about your industry that outsiders are probably unaware of?
It’s a very selective community but also much more open & accessible than others usually expect. it’s always more about who you connect with, rather than what you know about or are able to do

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
It was never expected to be easy & it never will be, good things don’t come easily they take time and hard work. It has been what feels like a long time to me since about 2020 i’ve been working on my brand & building a foundation for myself as a freelance artist, i can say that i just recently started to receive any type of recognition or payment for my services in the last year or so. You really just have to have tunnel vision & patience

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I’d probably take them to a nice museum downtown, followed by a walk in the park or a walk around the city until we get hungry. Then we have to go to franks pizza, i wasn’t originally such a big fan but it recently has grown on me alot

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
First and foremost shoutout to God for making all things possible through him. Thankyou to my parents & family members for always believing in me and supporting me in every step of the way. Also huge shoutout to my friends & partners in the creative scenes, they keep me motivated & always dedicated to my work more than anything .
