Hi Kimberly, what habits do you feel play an important role in your life?
Prioritizing my personal growth and leadership development has been instrumental in my professional success. It is essential to fully understand oneself and strive towards self-improvement so you can effectively lead yourself and others, including employees. Each morning, I allocate time for personal development through meditation, practicing gratitude, and reading books that enhance my personal and leadership skills. Additionally, I have adopted a disciplined morning routine. I have come to recognize that a chaotic morning often leads to a chaotic day. By adhering to a structured morning routine, I create space for self-care and mental clarity, enabling me to approach the day with a clear and focused mindset. When you own the morning, you win the day and I believe there is no better feeling at the end of the day than the feeling of accomplishment.
I am also committed to maintaining a healthy work-life balance, a commitment that has been reinforced by my structured morning routine. Achieving this balance can be challenging in the demanding field of real estate; however, it is vital for personal well-being and family life. Constantly prioritizing work over personal life can lead to neglecting yourself and your family. You and your family deserve the best version of yourself, not what is left over after an exhausting day.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
With over 25 years of combined experience in the real estate industry, my husband and I founded The Franco Team in 2018. Since then, we have been honored with numerous awards, however, our journey has not come without challenges. When we initially started The Franco Team, we lacked a clear and cohesive vision for our business. Our primary motivation was to expand our reach and assist more people with their real estate needs. Recognizing the limitations of what we could achieve individually, we knew that forming a team was the logical next step. Unfortunately, the absence of structured systems and processes led to operational chaos and inefficiency.
We quickly realized the need for professional development, so we immersed ourselves in leadership training and development. This transformative experience enabled us to articulate a clear vision and implement systematic approaches that not only streamlined our operations, but also enhanced the experience for our team members and clients alike.
Through the evolution and development of our team, I have gained invaluable insights into the importance of cultivating a strong team culture, fostering accountability, maintaining adaptability, and leadership.
I also learned that It is crucial to onboard team members who align with our core values and vision. When team members resonate with our values and vision, they become ambassadors of our brand, extending our reach to individuals we might not have otherwise connected with.
It is also crucial to have team members who are open to personal and professional growth. As a leader, it is my responsibility to nurture and develop team members into future leaders. When team members feel empowered and confident in their abilities, it is reflected in their interactions with clients, colleagues, and peers. There is no greater satisfaction than knowing we have contributed to their personal and professional growth and confidence.
Today, I am proud to say that The Franco Team is dedicated to elevating the real estate experience by assisting others in investing in their future through real estate. Currently, our team consists of five committed real estate agents and we are closing upwards of 200 properties annually. Our goal is to expand our team with individuals who share our vision and values, enabling us to assist even more people with their real estate needs year after year.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I am incredibly grateful to live in Houston, a city renowned for its diversity, vibrant culture, and exciting activities. One of the highlights, especially during baseball season, is attending an Astros game, so that would be stop number one. Nothing encapsulates the true spirit and energy of Houston quite like cheering on the Astros at a game.
No visit to Houston would be complete without indulging in some classic Texas BBQ. Living on the north side of town, my go-to BBQ spot is Corkscrew BBQ. While it might seem extreme to wait in line for an hour before the restaurant even opens, their food is well worth the wait.
Another must-do experience in Houston is exploring the diverse culinary scene, particularly in the Bellaire area. Bellaire is a food lover’s paradise, offering a plethora of authentic restaurants representing various cultures from around the world. From mouthwatering Vietnamese pho and Korean BBQ to traditional Mexican tacos and Indian curries, Bellaire provides a culinary scene like no other.
I would tell people if you’re planning a visit to Houston, be prepared to experience people with a love for the city like no other place and indulge in some extraordinary culinary experiences and maybe gain a few extra pounds along the way!

My husband, Steven, has been a pivotal figure in my journey to success. His support and encouragement have been invaluable to me. Regardless of the unconventional or ambitious ideas I bring to the table, Steven is a pillar, providing both emotional and practical support. His belief in me, even when faced with uncertainty or risk, has empowered me to pursue my goals with greater confidence and determination. His consistent encouragement has not only boosted my morale during challenging times but has also served as a constant reminder of the importance of believing in oneself and one’s dreams. Steven has been the foundation of my success, offering both encouragement and a listening ear, and for that, I am profoundly grateful.
I also have to take a moment to mention my involvement with the Glover U organization over the past year, as it has been a transformative experience and a significant reason for my success. Quickly on, I made the decision to hire a business coach through this organization. My coaches have been instrumental in pushing me beyond my comfort zone on a weekly basis, encouraging me to undertake challenges and initiatives I had never previously considered.
My business coach has consistently encouraged me to adopt innovative and unconventional approaches to problem-solving and business development. This has not only expanded my knowledge and skill set, but has also significantly enhanced my capacity for growth and adaptability. I am beyond grateful for this mentorship and the invaluable insights it has provided.
Additionally, the supportive environment of the Glover U organization has been another key factor in my professional development. The opportunity to surround myself with like-minded individuals, who are also committed to personal and professional growth, has been incredibly motivating and inspiring.
