Meet Kloe Evans: CEO/Founder of Kuts For Christ & Licensed Cosmetology Instructor/Hair Stylist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Kloe Evans and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kloe, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking.
The way that I interpret risk is quit simple, I look at it as taking a huge step and watching God take the other. As 2 Corinthians 5:7 reads, “For we walk by faith, not by sight”, that’s a constant reminder for me as in this journey I have taken many leaps which could be called risk taking opportunities that has prepared me to be in the position I am in today. By taking risk, there has been so many great opportunities that has presented itself that I am now able to fully walk in my purpose. I would tell anyone to take the risk, and step out in faith because you will never know the blessings or outcome of that decision. Someones blessings are on the other side of your obedience. I stand here today with a non profit because I took a risk and stepped out in faith trusting God and believing that Kuts For Christ will change the world.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Well to begin, Kuts For Christ was a God given dream that was positioned for my life. The one major thing I can say that sets us apart is our foundation, which is prayer and that’s what KFC is built on. As we strive to love on each and every brother and sister in Christ, I am overjoyed with gratitude knowing that we are making a difference with one haircut or beauty service at a time. I believe I got to where I am business-wise because I believe that I am walking in my purpose and calling. I truly believe once you know your purpose, than you will do everything you can to strive to make it great. All things will work together for the good when you have Christ involved, I am a firm believer. I don’t believe nothing comes easy when you have to achieve or make a difference in the world. I will tell anyone to continue to strive for your dreams even when it feels like nothing is happening in your favor. TRUST THE PROCESS!! If you stay focused and press on, things will align and fall into place. I want the world to know that Kuts For Christ has so many great opportunities ahead and this is just the beginning. We are looking forward to the next chapter of blessings ahead and we will continue to serve and poor into the communities around the Houston and Katy area. If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
So if my best friend was here visiting, I would take her straight to Turkey Leg Hut. They have such a nice and inviting atmosphere and the food is amazing. If she is wanting a chill hangout spot and some great seafood, then I would take her to Lotus Seafood. I would also include karaoke, they have a really nice spot on Westheimer!!!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to shoutout my mother Ruby Evans and brother Leneal Thomas for being such an important asset to my life. From the amount of love, truth and honesty they show me, I am forever grateful. I am blessed to have them both in my life and working along side of me with Kuts For Christ. They are my anchor and support system. Love you both❤️
