We had the good fortune of connecting with Kristian Cormier and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kristian, have there been any changes in how you think about work-life balance?
My work life balance has gotten more hectic to keep up with. Running my business, working at my job 4 days out of the week & maintaining relationships is a challenge for me. I’ve always liked to keep busy so i don’t see it as a bad thing and it doesn’t bother me. I still have a lot of adjusting to do but that will come with time.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
K Posh Wig Boutique focuses on detail. From the customization, to the color & style of the wig. I spend so much time on each wig making sure they’re all perfect. I can’t even give someone a wig that i don’t think is perfection. I’m really consistent which automatically sets me apart from others. I’m proud of myself for consistently posting on instagram and really focusing on building an audience that loves my craft as much as i do. Sometimes I go days or weeks feeling uninspired & wondering what to do next but i just shake the feeling off. I’ve accomplished so many things in such a small amount of time so why would i stop?


Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would definitely go to Playground HTX for drinks & a girls night out. Book with me if you need a section.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My shoutout goes to my mom. She helped me sew my first wig and still helps me to this day. Anytime i feel like i messed up an order she’ll think of a solution.

She always lends a listening ear when i have new ideas or just want to talk about anything relating to my business no questions asked. I wouldn’t be as confident as i am without her!
