Hi KYOTO’S, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
The Kids! If I can be a voice, i’ll do it! Like them I’ve experienced Bullying, people bringing you down for fighting for dreams, adults telling you’ll never succeed, even unstable mental health! No! I wasn’t born with a musical ability, but I learned! How to write, how to sing, how to create original content. Honestly, it all played out as a way of relieving my own anxiety and depressive demons at first! But the more involvement, encounters I had along the road, the more I realized how much words can impact a soul. Just how my inspiratons impacted mine! I want to bring that same energy for somebody, through the motivational words ‘We’ll be okay.” More than art I would like to bring love and hope!

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Hello, I’m KYOTO’S NIGHTMARE! Young Latin American and upcoming artist from Houston, Texas. The city is primarily known for the sound of Chopped n Screwed and Hip-Pop, I want to introduce the city new sounds from Acoustic, Alternitive to Punk-Rock with a Hip-Pop Experimental twist. Currently excited for my newest Single “BATBOY” it’s a combination of acoustic guitar, and 80’s grudge, The track was written back in Febuary 2020 during a stressful time dealing with anxiety, depressive ideas, and suicidal intentions! There wasn’t an idea behind this, more like a cry of help or “A Suicide Note” but the track is honestly filled with nothing else than raw emotions and reality. I just hope it helps someone who’s struggling with these senarios! It’s been a long journey as I said before I’ve experienced Bullying, people bringing you down for fighting for dreams, adults telling you’ll never succeed, from battling anxiety, to the departure of my father, to having to start adulting! But you know what! I thank God we making it through, you know! Im grateful to be motivated and to have the mentality of “Learning not to let losses be losses but turn them into lessons” even when things get real! I just wanna help the kids that feel alone

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I’d say lets hit “FRANK’S PIZZA!”

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Well, before anything Shoutout to God! Wouldn’t be where I’m at without Him. But thank you to my mentor and brother Infphy, his advice, support, motivation have been mad real!!
