We had the good fortune of connecting with Kyra Beasley and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Kyra, how did you come up with the idea for your business?
Before coming up with the idea for my business; I found myself in a really dark place. I was in need of some soul searching, healing and direction. I had just left my corporate job and did not know exactly what I wanted to pursue within my professional life.
I sat down and asked myself “okay, you don’t want to do this. You don’t want to do that. What do you like?.” I found that I love all things that have to do with mental and spiritual health, psychology, self development, and healing. However, I did not see myself going back to school for another couple of years only to get myself in more overwhelming debt. So I began looking into alternative options and I found a ton of coaching programs and mentors who were licensed therapists teaching others how to turn their purpose into profitable careers.
Since then I have been coaching people on how they can live in alignment with a life that best speaks to their soul by helping them deprogram their consciousness and guiding them through self exploration.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I would consider myself a self development coach and healer. I help people heal their blockages and wounds to reconnect with the truest form of their soul through deprogramming and self exploration.
There are so many people living their day to day lives very robotically and I want to free them from being stagnant. Usually fear gets in the way of that. Fear of being misunderstood, rejected, or abandoned. It’s my job as a coach to create a safe space for those who desperately want to live their life unapologetically, but never gave themselves permission to do so. Living unapologetically means to boldly stand in your truth and own who you are. Regardless of how that may look to the outside world. What matters is your alignment.
I am most excited about my 10 week group coaching program, “The Self Healers Initiation,” that will start July 1st. Imagine a group of people who are breaking through their fears, healing from their wounds, and exploring different aspects of themselves together. What an empowering group of people to start an important journey with.
I got to where I am by investing thousands of dollars and time into my mental health and professional development. It was not always easy. I sacrificed living a certain lifestyle to prioritize my personal and professional goals. I also did a lot of self reflection and healing work, which in itself can be an excruciating, yet necessary experience. I over came a lot of challenges by constantly reaching out to my mentors for guidance, being persistent, and showing alot of resilience.
A big lesson I learned along the way is that you can have the best mentors, coaches, books, and programs in the world. However, if you don’t believe in you it doesn’t matter. If you can’t trust your own intuition before going out for more advice it doesn’t matter. If you can’t get out of your own way, it doesn’t matter. You have to put in the internal work at the end of the day.
I want the world to know that my brand represents all things authenticity, alignment, growth, evolution, and transformation.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to give thanks to Gabby Ortega, founder of OM Therapy Coaching. Ali Ringer, founder of Recovhery. Amber, founder of Strike Ignite. Finally, Coach Connection Club, a community of kindred souls who are on the mission to assist in global impact and healing.
I’ve learned and gained so much wisdom from all of these wonderful women and I can not wait to give back to show my appreciation.
