Meet Kyrie McAlpin | Actress

We had the good fortune of connecting with Kyrie McAlpin and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kyrie, other than deciding to work for yourself, what was the single most important decision you made that contributed to your success?
As a Christian, putting God first in all that I do. That means praying, reading the Bible, worshipping him, going to church, having respect for him, being patient, and living the way you’re supposed too.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am an actress, I have been acting for 9 years and I am getting better everyday. I am an author and I am coming out with a book this year. I am also a songwriter and will be creating a song written by me. What can I say? My motto is “The girl with many talents”

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
We would definitely go eat sushi, Dave’s hot chicken, Wingstop, or chipotle. Those are my favorite places to eat at. I would also take them to Jamaican restaurants around the city. For places to go, I would take them to the Hollywood reservoir, so we could go walking and of course everyone loves to go see the Hollywood walk of fame. I’m also a very chill person so some days we will stay home and I love to cook so we could cook and hang out.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My shoutout goes to, My parents that support me everything that I do,
Victoria Rowell who is an actress and my mentor,
My agency CESD and my Manager Doss Talent,
All the directors, producers, and writers that took a chance on me and saw what I could do,
and to everyone I have worked with that’s given me great advice and has made me a better actress and person.
