Meet Lara Blush | Cosmetic injector

We had the good fortune of connecting with Lara Blush and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Lara, what role has risk played in your life or career?
Really no risk no reward!! I was stagnant in my life for the last 15 years, working the same job at a grocery store being a single mom, barely making and meet.. two years ago I decided to sell my home quit my job in 15 years and move to Texas.. in the last two years I have gotten Botox and filler certified taken multiple trainings. I’ve taught Botox and I’ve started my own business being a mobile concierge service. If I hadn’t taken the risk, I never would have known what I could’ve been… My journey is new and far from over.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am a mobile Botox and filler cosmetic injector.. I also have taught how to inject Botox.. getting to this journey was not easy. It has taken drive and dedication… what sets me up part is that I don’t stop until I reach my goals. I do good quality work and I have a mentorship program. I’ve learned along the way that if you don’t invest in yourself. You’ll never know what you could’ve been. I’ve seen the good the bad and the ugly in the cosmetic injecting field. I’ve quit jobs and been offered amazing positions in spas that I have turned down, all so that I can have my own brand, that’s where no risk no reward comes in. I am not where I want to be exactly yet, but I am definitely on my way..

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
First and foremost, it would be Sunday fun day if my best friend was coming, brunch on rooftops, live music, great people, and as far as the list goes, there’s so many places I am still new to Texas. I would definitely take them to the Galleria area and then maybe a trip to Galveston or Corpus Christi to see the beautiful scenery.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Definitely Kasey Johnson!! She is the lead instructor trainer for My Spa live.. I took her classes a couple years ago and she inspired me to go to the top.!! She asked me to come back and be a sub trainer and from that point on, I learned so much.. She always told me to take care of me and my family. She was always so supportive and anything that I did. She taught me the ins and outs and I am so grateful for her.. she was my motivation and I love her dearly
