Meet Latanna Winn | I’am a servant of God first and the Founder & CEO of My Soul Provider Health, a faith-centered wellness and care brand created to serve others with compassion, integrity, and purpose.

We had the good fortune of connecting with Latanna Winn and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Latanna, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The most important factor behind my success and the success of my brand is God.
Everything I am building is rooted in my walk with Him. Since I began truly walking with God, He has given me the vision, the ideas, the compassion, and the drive behind My Soul Provider Health.
This business was not just a business idea—it was purpose birthed through faith. God placed on my heart a deep compassion for people, especially families, the elderly, and those in need of genuine care. He showed me that care is not just physical help, but emotional, spiritual, and soul-filled support as well.
Through Him, I was given the clarity to create a brand that focuses on dignity, love, and service—meeting people where they are and caring for them with patience, empathy, and respect. My motivation comes from understanding that every person matters to God, and therefore they matter to me.
The strength to keep going, the resilience to push through challenges, and the passion to serve others all come from Him. My brand exists to reflect His love through action—by helping others, uplifting families, and providing care that truly comes from the heart.
Simply put, God is the foundation, the source, and the reason behind everything I do and everything my brand stands for.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My career in healthcare is rooted in compassion, purpose, and faith. What truly sets me apart is that I do not view caregiving as just a service—it is a calling. At My Soul Provider Health, care goes beyond tasks and checklists. I focus on honoring the whole person: mind, body, and soul. I lead with empathy, dignity, and intentional presence, ensuring every client feels seen, valued, and genuinely cared for.
I am most proud of building a business that reflects my values and my faith. Since walking closely with God, He has given me the vision, compassion, and strength to create a brand centered on soul-filled wellness. Every service offered is grounded in love, integrity, and respect—not only for clients, but also for their families and my team. I could not be who I am today without the trust of my clients who allow me into their lives, nor without the dedicated individuals who serve alongside me with heart and purpose.
The journey was not easy. There were challenges, moments of uncertainty, and seasons that required deep faith. However, I’ve learned to truly lean on and depend on God. Through prayer, perseverance, and obedience, I overcame each obstacle. As Scripture reminds me, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” That truth is the foundation of my success and the driving force behind My Soul Provider Health.
Above all, I am a servant of God first—and through Him, a leader who serves others with compassion, excellence, and unwavering faith.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend Lashondric Johnson were visiting the area for a week, I’d want to give her an experience that reflects peace, joy, health, and connection. I would definitely start by taking her fishing on Lake Houston, which is freshwater and one of my favorite places to relax. Fishing is very grounding for me—it gives me quiet time to reflect, reset, and clear my mind. I’d also take her saltwater fishing in Galveston, because being near the ocean brings a different kind of peace and calm that we both appreciate.
Of course, no visit would be complete without good food. We would absolutely stop at Crafty Crab, because we both love seafood—and they make it nice and spicy, just the way I like it. Sharing meals and laughter is always a big part of how we connect.
I’d also take her to the Bayou in downtown Houston to walk, enjoy the scenery, and get some light exercise. At this stage in life, we both value our health and wellness. We understand that we can’t truly care for others—especially in healthcare—if we aren’t taking care of ourselves first.
To close out the week, I’d bring her to my church home, Revolution 180 Church, to worship with Pastor Joshua Edward and his lovely wife, LaCretia Edwards. Ending the week in church would be meaningful to me because my faith is the foundation of who I am. Fellowship, gratitude, and spiritual renewal are important parts of my life, and I’d love to share that with someone I care deeply about.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
While all credit and glory belong to God—who is the foundation of my purpose, vision, and strength—I would be incomplete without the people He placed along my journey.
I am deeply grateful for my clients and their families, who trust me and allow me into some of the most personal moments of their lives. Their openness, resilience, and faith in my care inspire me daily. Being invited to serve them is not something I take lightly; they are the heart of My Soul Provider Health. Without their trust, this mission could not exist.
I also want to recognize my team, whose compassion, dedication, and commitment to service make this vision possible. Their willingness to lead with empathy, integrity, and excellence allows our brand to truly live out its purpose. Together, we serve not just with skill, but with heart.
God gave the vision, but He used people to help bring it to life. I am honored to walk this journey with such incredible clients and a devoted team, all working together to reflect love, care, and service in action.
