We had the good fortune of connecting with Latasha Ingram and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Latasha, alright, let’s jump in with a deep one – what’s you’re definition for success?
Success can be defined by many variations, however I define success by how much you’ve grown. We grow from the moment we enter the world. To have success I believe we have to watch ourselves push through one stage of learning to another one. The times I have sat back and looked at the starting foundations of my business to now, success has been defined over and over again! If we are not continually improving we are not succeeding to the best version of ourselves.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?

Professionally I’m a Teacher!!! I enjoy the aspect of learning and being able to reach goals through learning! My passion for education has succeeded way beyond the classroom and has showed up within my business. What sets Tasha’s Baked Goods LLC apart is I used my love for learning and my love for baking to teach kids the art of baking. I’ve had the pleasure of teaching three classes so far and am currently in progress of another one.

Whether it’s career or business, both has had me to apply all my efforts and my impeccable work ethics. If you’re not willing to put in the time to properly run a business or work within a career you are not giving it your best. I grasp that it’s hard and not easy in these aspects of career and business, however those are the times we rely on family and friends to uplift us and offer wisdom! The most important lessons I’ve learned along the way is to have patience with yourself. I think we often forget that All great things take time… Each moment I’ve second guessed myself or tried to self sabotage the idea of something, I exceeded expectations when the task was done! So take the risk when it comes to doing something new! I guarantee the outcome will be great in the long run.

I want the world to know that the journey to this current destination of Tasha’s Baked Goods LLC has not been easy by far, however through death’s of love ones, job demotion, school, career transitions, and everything in between I still push through to be the best version of myself while allowing everyone to see my progress along the way.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
First off all my besties/friends are All Foodies… so one things for sure we are definitely heading to Rouxpour for dinner and drinks. We’re starting off the day at Lucille’s for breakfast, a day of relaxing at the Woodhouse Spa and a night of fun and games at the house for game night!

I would also take her to Crawfish and Noodles since we love seafood, and end the night with some place that offer live music.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to extend my shoutout to each one of my customers who have trusted me to be apart of some of their greatest memories and milestones in life. We often forget about the people who has made us successful in life! My customers have prayed, encouraged , and supported me in every avenue of Tasha’s Baked Goods, and without them and their love for my business I wouldn’t be able to define success!
