Meet Lejuaqena Jones Wyatt | CEO & Owner Founder of Klayas Amazing Hands Post Op Care /Body Contouring.

We had the good fortune of connecting with Lejuaqena Jones Wyatt and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Lejuaqena, maybe we can start at the very start – the idea – how did you come up with the idea for your business?
After working in the medical field for over 20 years, my passion for helping others and providing exceptional care led me to specialize in post-operative cosmetic surgery recovery. Encouraged by my eldest daughter, I took the leap to start my own business during the pandemic, and Klayas Amazing Hands was born. Starting by traveling to clients’ homes, I saved up enough to open my own office suite, and my business has thrived ever since. With faith as my guide, I am committed to continuing to grow and make a lasting impact in the field.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
What makes me unique is that I am true to myself – I never wanted to be anyone else. As I ventured into the competitive world of post-operative care and body contouring, I remained focused on building a professional business and personal brand. Despite the challenges and fluctuations in income, I stayed committed to my vision for Klayas Amazing Hands. I understand the importance of consistency, dedication, honesty, and professionalism in this industry. I’ve had to remind myself to stay strong during slow periods, and to keep promoting my business even when times get tough. I am determined not to give up, and I refuse to let obstacles deter me from my goals. As the CEO, Owner & Founder of Klayas Amazing Hands, I know the hard work is worth it, and I am driven by the prospect of becoming known beyond Houston. I encourage all business owners to persist, have faith, and believe that the best is yet to come.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Explore the vibrant nightlife scene where I love to unwind and have a great time, whether it’s dancing, savoring delicious food and drinks, or enjoying a hookah. My top recommendation is Sophi’s Chateau Bar & Lounge, a family-owned establishment at 1112 Southmore Blvd, Houston, TX 77004, where the music, cuisine, drinks, and upscale environment create a fantastic atmosphere to connect with great people. Other favorites include 5015, Dreams Bar & Lounge, The Address, The Livin Room, Lost and Found, Forget Me Not, Capital Grill, and Mastro’s Steakhouse. Don’t forget to visit Inthemix2609 for a quality hookah and grab a 3rd Ward signature T-shirt to commemorate your visit to Houston, TX.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I am deeply grateful to God for blessing me with unique talents that have shaped who I am. I also want to express my heartfelt appreciation to my husband, Mark Wyatt, for standing by me through the highs and lows of this journey. My firstborn, De’Shay Burton Dubose, has been a tremendous source of support and encouragement as she pursued her own business ventures. Her unwavering belief in my abilities has been a driving force behind my success. A special thank you to my Uncle Jerry Bluitt, who has been my pillar of strength, providing guidance and unwavering support. I am also thankful for the support and belief in my dreams from my Uncle James. Their encouragement and presence have been invaluable as I pursue my business endeavors. I am truly blessed to have such an incredible support system that believes in me and my vision. I am filled with gratitude for their unwavering support and love.
