We had the good fortune of connecting with Linda Chaney and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Linda, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My thought process behind starting my own business is the feeling of community. A lot of people feel lonely isolated especially in this pandemic we are currently in today. They just don’t have people they can relate to in their circle. I wanted to help inspire and even change people’s lives in a creative way.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Evolution Dance Studio is a premier International dance studio. We provide a wide variety of classes for all ages and skill levels. We provide unique experiences where students have an opportunity to grow both mentally and physically as dancers. We are committed to providing high-quality age-appropriate instruction in a fun upbeat and positive atmosphere. We are most proud of being committed to our community. We believe we are ambassadors for the performing arts in our local community and beyond. It took two years doing lots of research, Filling out forms, taking tests, study, money, and prayer. It wasn’t easy or hard I love the journey. There’s work but I’m up to the challenge. On my journey, I have learned opening up a business is a process and anything worth having is worth the work. Especially, when you hear and see the excitement in the children. Evolution Dance Studio, we believe in honesty and code of ethics, and teaching dance and fitness is what we do but helping others to believe in themselves is who we are! We believe in innovation and constant improvement. We are dedicated to constant never ended improvement of our facility, our system our staff professional development as well as our student’s ongoing training.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
When I think about where I am in my life at this moment and where I started from I can see the journey of helping my oldest son become an Eagle Scout doing fundraisers, my youngest son Cub Scout selling popcorn, and helping my daughter sell Girl Scout cookies who became the top seller in her troop. Then I became a Mary Kay Representative because it was so intriguing to me some of the best business training came from MLM. On my journey, I met Taurea V Avant a publisher that started me on being one of the co-authors of THE MLM BOOK Business of the 21st Century. Writing my first book story about my life put fire underneath me. From there my husband had gotten sick, during this time period he had improved. The doctor’s prescription: “Mr. Chaney, your health is very important. You have been through a lot with your health-take your wife and go travel and see the world. God works in mysterious ways… my nephew Craig introduced us to Worldventures Travel (MLM). This changing series of events with my husband’s health made me realize I had something special in my possession and needed to take another look at multi-level marketing. Things started to align finding a better lifestyle for us we traveled the world and helped others as well. Thanks, Worldventures for the training, personal growth, leadership, and freedom to be your own boss. Two years ago I started my own business as owner of Evolution Dance Studio. I would like to give a special shoutout to Karen McConnell-Jones and Dr. Sharon H.Porter gave me an opportunity to be in the Vision & Purpose lifestyle and one of her speakers for their grand opening.
