We had the good fortune of connecting with Marivi Mora and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Marivi, what do you attribute your success to?
Passion! When you really love what you do, you enjoy it so much and that enthusiasm is reflected in what you do. You get positive results for you and your clients. Passion makes you get the energy and the will to continue, even in difficult times.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Viva La Ad is a Digital Marketing and Print agency that brings together professionals, passionate about doing what we love the most: Advertising! and all that is related, to help our clients boost their businesses and sell more.

Each website, e-commerce, social media strategy, graphic design, and branding, in short, each project is different, that is why with each project we apply our experience and we are also learning so we are constantly evolving.

As in any business or any area of life, we constantly face difficult, unforeseen situations that have made us take unexpected turns. The most important thing is the learning that each of these situations leaves us. Today I understand that the secret is to always focus on the solution and not on the problem, it’s what allows you to be flexible to make decisions and to be able to keep your vision “outside the box” to obtain a broader picture of the situation.

At Viva La Ad we have fun planning and executing our clients’ projects. We are committed to their brands and we celebrate the results!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
First day we can go for a nice walk at Memorial Park and stop by and get a Michelada to go at Chychos after. Just hang out together and catch up.

The second day we can do a hot yoga class at Lifetime with my favorite yoga teacher Stacy @pagesofyoga, before heading out for a nice lunch at Fiesta en Guadalajara. For dinner, we can head down to Davanti to have the best Italian food and some wines.

Third day we head to Galveston for some fun at the beach and relax.

Last day of the trip we hang out and go for another nice stroll at Buffalo Bayou. After that, we will head over for some Mexican food and margaritas at El Palenque.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Definitely, my family has the leading role in my life. My grandparents were my pillars and they continue to be my pride. My parents are my greatest strength and my sisters and brothers-in-law are my partners. I’m fortunate to have many uncles and aunts, all of them are close and very special to me, as well as my cousins who are my brothers and sisters 🙂 My nephews are my inspiration, and Antonio, my godson is my everything! My coworkers and clients who have become friends… So yes, I have a lot to be thankful for; many good people surround me 🙂
