Meet Martin | Owner and Lead Photographer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Martin and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Martin, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Photography has always been my passion because it allows me to freeze a moment in time—something you can cherish forever. I started taking pictures at an early age, and what began as a hobby naturally evolved into a business. In the beginning, I didn’t charge for my work, but as demand grew and life brought new responsibilities—like paying for school—it became necessary to turn my passion into a side business to help me stay afloat.

While juggling a part-time job and being a full-time student, I realized photography was more than just a way to make ends meet. Over time, my business model shifted to focus on creating a family-centered experience, one where every client is treated like a part of my own family. Building a sense of community through my work has been incredibly fulfilling.

My business took off even more when I started planning my own wedding in 2018. My wife, who also works in the wedding industry as a planner, shares my love for celebrating life’s special moments. Together, we live and breathe weddings—it’s been an honor to document love stories and bring joy to others through my craft.

This journey has been incredible, and I hope to continue doing what I love for as long as I can.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My wife has been one of my greatest sources of motivation and accountability. Her opinions mean so much to me because I know they always reflect what’s best for us. We share the same goals, and she is always by my side, supporting me every step of the way.
