We had the good fortune of connecting with Mathew Paul and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Mathew, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
We, as financial coaches, help individuals and families streamline their finances, eliminate the bondage of debt, and save/invest for their future. We do not sell any financial products. We live in the richest country of the world, and it is sad that 78% of the population is living paycheck to paycheck. 52% of the population doesn’t have enough money to buy their groceries for 2 months, and 67% of the population is worried or somewhat worried about their finances. This is not ok, and we need to act. With COVID-19, unemployment has gone up significantly, and small businesses are closing. This is amplifying the existing problem and it is now becoming a social problem as well. That is where we come in and try to guide individuals and families to attain financial and marital peace. 

What should our readers know about your business?
Our past success defines who we are. We have served more than 400 clients and have helped them pay off millions of dollars in debt. We did all these without selling a single financial product. We started small and due to the results that we delivered for our clients, our firm started growing. It was not easy to establish our credentials. But when we did, our clients became our referral machines. We want others to know that we as coaches do not judge or point fingers at them. We are your biggest cheerleaders, and your success is ours. So, we are very compassionate and will spend hours teaching them and helping them succeed.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
We would take them to the Water Wall, Keemah Boardwalk, the rodeo if they visit in spring, to San Antonio’s attractions and the hill country. These are some of our favorite places to take people to when they visit. The Museum District would be another place to take visitors too. As far as the food scene goes, we would definitely have them sample Tex-Mex, Middle-Eastern, South & Central American, Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean, and BBQ around the city.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Absolutely! We started this organization because of our life experiences. When we were struggling financially, we came across the Dave Ramsey process and started following it. It worked for us, and so, when we decided to help others, we aimed to follow the same steps.
