We had the good fortune of connecting with Max Solorzano Pinto and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Max, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
I decided to go after an artistic career after that at a really young age I realized that i didn’t wanted to have an office or corporate job, I feel better teaching people how to dance, creating routines and filming those creations.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
My business is a Dance School where we take our pride on teaching the people how to dance, specially to those who always are saying that they have to feet or that they don’t know how to dance but never has taken a dance class before, for all those people who have the true desire to dance to learn how to dance. We welcome to everyone that is interested on learning a new skill to dance with their partners, to those that are shy but want to do something to engage with their confidence and step up. Right now we’re excited to where we’re heading as a business, certainly hasn’t been easy with the ongoing pandemic that we all are going through but we are making the effort to keep all the classes at the best quality with all the safety precautions and practices. I would like to tell the world about this business is that PROYECCION LATINA came to the US to be the BEST LATIN DANCE ACADEMY.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would definitely bring them to: . Proyección Latina to dance . Tan Tan Restaurant (vietnamese food) . Visit the Water wall . Go to the Galleria, River Oaks and Discovery Green . Go to Tropicana to party . Katy Mills to shop . Venezuelan food in the Katy, Tx area . Kemah Boardwalk

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to start giving a shoutout to my family, my mother and father, who were the ones who did an incredible effort for me to be here and achieve a lot of things. Then I would like to thank to The Casino Stars and the director Jorge Melo who gave me de opportunity of become part of his team and travel across the U.S. dancing, performing and sharing all that we know.
