Hi Meghan, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
Risk is what have me on the level I’m on now. Following last year I had a war with myself knowing that there was more but I wasn’t putting myself in that position to get where I needed to be. Over time I then came up with this ludicrous special, I made over $11,000 braiding hair for $30. I was literally running a marathon , accommodating fourteen clients a day . There after I was pleased because I had reached a goal that I never did in matter of a few days. There after , I went blind in my left eye which led to me having eye removal surgery. I doubted myself during my recovery time. Something quickly came to and reminded me who I was. I revamped me and said I was going to be my brand , I’ve been over capacity booked and busy. Taken the risk of seeing in partial vision have me as a person in great standards as well as my brand .

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I’m Meghan known as Meghan The Braider. I’m from Jeanerette,Louisiana, I know reside in Houston,Tx. My career started with braiding a co workers hair that led me to being booked forcing me to quit my low paying stressful job. I really didn’t have a plan when I started braiding. I thought it was just going to be something to pass time and put extra money in my pocket . As the years pass my client increased. There wasn’t always good days but I refused to give up. I kept promoting myself letting everyone know who I was and who I was going to be. With being my own boss came with a lot of gains and many losses . I took each bump and built a brick so I can continue to hit each goal that I set for myself . Even until this day I’m still setting goals and doing whatever to make sure I succeed it. My brand is me and I will make sure the world knows about it. Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
